He emerges from a coma, and from now on his way of existence is to overcome the laws of gravity, the cruel laws of Life and Death, to create his own “transparent” reality without the shackles of Deception and the shackles of conventions. The graph is not fixed on lifestyle and social status. Unlike many, he always remembers that he is a guest at this celebration of life. His interaction with the outside world, and in particular with society, is arranged in the same way as the interaction of a meditating Japanese with a rock garden - his consciousness is not clouded by issues of money, career, connections, decency, comfort, social certainty. The flow of reality tries on him the images of a janitor, a pimp, a loader, a millionaire, a civil servant, a shoemaker, a poet; and the latter, perhaps, suits him better. The dream, which has crept close to reality in the Count's mind, constantly sends him into battle, either with foreigners or with the vices of his own soul..
