About the book: 1973 / The script "Bumbarash" was written by film playwright Evgeny Mitko based on early works and the story of the same name by Arkady Gaidar (which remained unfinished). E. Mitko managed to preserve the intonation and figurative structure of Gaidar’s works in the script. Based on the script “Bumbarash”, a film was produced at the Kyiv Film Studio named after A.P. Dovzhenko (directors A. Naroditsky, N. Rasheev), which was highly praised in the press.
