About the book: 1964 / The science fiction story by the Belarusian writer Vladimir Shitik "The Last Orbit" tells about the preparation and flight to Mars and Pluto of the spaceship "Nabat" and about the search for extraterrestrial intelligence on these planets. The story was written in 1962 and, naturally, contains all the attributes of Soviet science fiction of the early 60s of the last century - a combination of fantastic, popular science and ideological lines, faith in the very early conquest of outer space of the solar system. The story was published in 1967 in Romanian language (“Ultima orbita”) and was published again in 1982 in the author’s collection in the Belarusian language “Transplutonic Aphelios».
