About the book: 1987 / Vladimir Vysotsky did not keep diaries, he had no lifetime biographers. But there were relatives, friends, acquaintances and colleagues whose memories formed the basis for this publication. Also used were articles from periodicals, documents and materials from the Taganka Theater Museum, the commission on Vysotsky’s creative heritage and the personal archives of the poet’s parents.
