About the book: 1995 / Author of memoirs - M.P. Schrader - worked in the Cheka-OGPU-NKVD system for about twenty years: starting from the Civil War and up to 1938 inclusive. He held various positions in the central apparatus of the OGPU-NKVD, served in some regional departments, and in 1938 was appointed to the post of Deputy Minister of the NKVD of the Kazakh SSR. In the same year he was arrested on the direct orders of Yezhov. In 1040 he was transferred to the camp. When the war began, he wrote dozens of letters asking to be sent to the front. In the end, with the rank of private, he found himself at the forefront... M.P. died. Schrader in the 70s.
