  • MediaDB / «Dostoevsky on Europe and the Slavs" Justin Popovich: download fb2, read online

About the book: year / The study was written by a Serbian theologian in 1931. A reader who is interested in the problems of the Russian mission will find in the book many ideas that raise self-esteem. “With his “infallibility” and proud self-sufficiency, European man condemned himself to death, after which, according to the laws of human logic, there is no Resurrection, and turned Europe into a vast cemetery from which they cannot be resurrected. But the Slavic man in his evangelical sadness and in his universal love feels, believes and knows: only the good and wonderful God-man can defeat death and resurrect every dead person, immortalize every mortal and turn the European cemetery into a nursery of the Resurrection and immortality." The book examines in detail the philosophy of Dostoevsky, with special attention paid to its mystical component. Thus, with “brilliant insight and prophetic revelation” St. Justin considers the writer’s conclusion that the devil is directly involved in the creation of atheistic philosophy and atheistic ethics.
