About the book: 2010 / Two crimes occur in Yakutsk one after another: the corpses of two Yakuts are discovered in the city market, and after this the local history museum is robbed. Only documents related to geological exploration expeditions were stolen from the museum, but for this the robbers even went so far as to kill the watchman. The investigation came to the conclusion that these crimes are interconnected and, moreover, that a thread runs from them to Chinese intelligence, and the ultimate goal of these crimes is to take possession of a diamond deposit. Former GRU special forces officer Illarion Zabrodov takes an active part in the operation to solve these crimes.
