About the book: 2010 / The content of this book is related to the beginning and end of the 900-day siege of the city of Leningrad. Based on archival documents and military-historical literature, the author tries to show the reasons for the tragic situation in which the city on the Neva found itself during the war, and also describes in detail the Leningrad-Novgorod strategic offensive operation (January 13 - March 1, 1944), which made it possible to end with many years of grueling siege of Leningrad.
