MediaDB / «Works of the Russian period. Prose. Literary criticism. Volume 3" Lev Gomolitsky: download fb2, read online
About the book: 2011 / The interwar period of the work of Lev Gomolitsky (1903–1988), who in the last decades of his life gained fame as a Polish writer and literary critic-Russianist, remained practically unknown. This publication, based on archival materials discovered in Poland, the Czech Republic, Russia, the USA and Israel, reveals a facet of the writer’s appearance that had previously remained in the shadows - a large set of his works created in the 1920s and 30s in Volyn and Warsaw, when he was a Russian poet and became a central figure in emigrant literary life. The third volume contains numerous newspaper articles and notes by the poet, his fictional experiments, which in their totality were approaches to the prose novel that has not reached us, as well as the book “Arion. On new foreign poetry" (Paris, 1939), which became an attempt to summarize the work of Gomolitsky’s poetic generation.
