MediaDB / «Diary of a Volunteer" Roman Maslennikov: download fb2, read online
About the book: 2014 / I would like to convey in this essay that a volunteer, and especially a Sochi-2014 volunteer, is not a fool who went to work for free, get various goodies for free and take pictures with Plushenko and other sports stars. In a word, the majority had their own, completely different motives, each came to this in their own way. What do Games volunteers do? How do they get there? What do they feed them, where do they live, finally? Such simple things will be discussed in this essay. And let it be read by someone who would like to become a volunteer, or this matter is just interesting for now. What else can you expect from this book, what descriptions? - Descriptions of what was inaccessible to the common man. These are not necessarily “revelations”, because there were a lot of funny, funny things. – Descriptions of working volunteer everyday life? Certainly! But also bright moments, concerts and movement that is associated with volunteering. And photographs. :) – You will be able to see the inner kitchen of the volunteers: how people from different parts of the world became one. – You will find out how after working days they went to Martin and drank beer, but without fanaticism. Volunteers reading this diary, they will even be able to feel nostalgic. :) Did you know that: – volunteers are not allowed, and often simply do not have time, to go to competitions that are not held at their facility; – a volunteer eats 2 times a day – breakfast and dinner; – more than a third of volunteers named this job is the best job in their life? In general, I will try to tell with even ardent interest how it all happened, how we spent these three weeks, without embellishment or exaggeration.:)
