    About the book: 2021 / Jozef Ignacy Kraszewski (July 28, 1812, Warsaw - March 19, 1887, Geneva) - Polish writer, publicist, publisher, author of books in history and ethnography; pseudonyms Kleofas Fakund Pasternak ("Kleofas Fakund Pasternak"), Bogdan Bolesławita ("Bogdan Bolesławita"), Dr. Omega. He was distinguished by his extraordinary fertility - his literary heritage amounts to approx. 600 volumes of novels and stories, poetic and dramatic works, as well as works on history, ethnography, folklore, travel essays, journalistic and literary critical articles. In 1876-1887 he wrote 29 novels in 76 volumes, forming a fictionalized history of Poland, starting from ancient times (Old Tradition, 1876). Among the works of this kind, “Countess Kosel” (1874) and “Brühl” (1875), previously written on Saxon material, stand out for their popularity and artistic merit. Contents:Historical novels: 1.
