About the book: 1998 / Bruce Holland Rogers is an American writer. He currently resides in Eugene, Oregon and was previously a resident of London. Works in a variety of genres, from science fiction and fantasy to modern and “experimental” prose. He is engaged in teaching activities - he teaches creative literature at the universities of Ohio, Wisconsin and Illinois, and leads several international writing workshops. Bruce Holland Rogers became world famous for his unusual stories, which have earned many prestigious awards and have been translated into many languages. “The Dead Boy Outside Your Window” - a bizarre mystical fairy tale-parable telling about a boy who became an intermediary between the world of the dead and the world of the living - received in 1998 year, the Bram Stoker Prize and the Pushkart Prize. In 1999, he was nominated for a Nebula Award in the “short story” category (but that year another work by the same author, the ghost story “Thirteen Paths to Water”) received the award.
