About the book: 2020 / At the beginning of the last century, books by the fiction writer Pyotr Dudorov, who wrote under the pseudonym P. Orlovets, were snapped up like hot cakes. Nowadays, fans of the detective genre know him as the author of books about the adventures of Sherlock Holmes in Russia. But not everyone knows that Dudorov also came up with his own hero-detective - named Karl Freiberg. And in some ways, even Sherlock Holmes himself is far from this detective, because he investigated the monstrous and terrible crimes of the criminal underbelly of pre-revolutionary Russia.
