About the book: 2023 / This story is dedicated to the events of the spring of 2022. It is based on the testimonies of participants - soldiers and officers, army and employees of the Russian Guard, as well as Russian volunteers. In those days, many believed that the darkness, fueled by serious money and hatred, would dissipate, fly away from the besotted Slavic souls, because our ancestors saw it together - Babi Yar, erased cities, burned fields, right? Alas, the scale of changes across the Dnieper has already become extraordinary. Our joyful hope turned into blood, and I had the opportunity to meet the bodies of dead soldiers in our small homeland, talk with their colleagues, and mourn with their loved ones. All this would have been too difficult if it had not been for meetings with the residents of Donbass in their cities and towns destroyed over the five-year period - the local residents had no need to lie, they were waiting for Russia to come and help. Names are fictitious, coincidences are random, events are reported from eyewitnesses.
