About the book: year / A short preface: I have always been interested in the structure of the fairy tale about Cinderella (disclaimer: I do not believe that this is a story about how to get a prince) , and deconstructing fairy tales is actually my old hobby. While thinking about the classic Cinderella, I focused on one question: how did Cinderella's parents get a magical creature to be their daughter's godparents? I was so fascinated by coming up with versions that in a couple of hours a sketch of a backstory was created, which became a prologue to the story about a kind girl who wore a dress stained with ash, was friends with mice and birds, and did not suspect that the fairy godmother had prepared a special fate for her.
