The first story is about a rubber gosling toy, which at a toy factory was made with a patch, that is, defective, that is, third-class, but still a good toy. The second story is about the Pencil brothers, who suddenly quarreled in the absence of their master-artist, but then reconciled forever. The stories were illustrated by the artist Heinrich Walk.
