For 33 years, the creative destiny of G. A. Tovstonogov was connected with the Leningrad Bolshoi Drama Theater named after M. Gorky. Today the BDT bears his name, preserving the unique traditions of Russian psychological theater, instilled in the team by the great director. This book also tells about the performances and the wonderful galaxy of artists lovingly nurtured by Tovstonogov.
