About the book: 2020 / Dear reader, You are holding in your hands my thirteenth book. In it I wanted to try myself in the detective genre, and I wrote the psychological detective story "Players" . All the events described take place in the 19th century, and I must say that this is all a figment of my imagination. I wanted to convey not only the storyline, but also the features of that time. It's always interesting to take the reader to a completely different time and world. To what extent I succeeded, you can judge. Two other stories, “Alice in Wonderland” and “Swallow’s Nest,” were written in 2008 and were previously published in the collection “In Search of Happiness.” They are dear to me, and since the first book has already sold out, I took the liberty of printing them again. Their stories are still relevant today. The story “My Sorrow is Bright” is dedicated to my friend Semyon Kulik, unfortunately, he died. But he always asked me to write a novel about his life. Now I am fulfilling his request, but posthumously. The novel didn’t work out, so far only the story has been published, but everything is ahead. I wish you interesting reading!!!
