About the book: 2017 / "Naughty Nulgynet" is a short story in stories about an Even girl. She is the only child in the entire district. Nulgynet lives in a family of nomadic reindeer herders, and even her name means “born during nomadism.” Life in the tundra is difficult, but the little minx is growing up as a happy child. These stories are stories from the childhood of the author, Maria Prokopyevna Fedotova-Nulgynet. “Naughty Nulgynet” was translated into Russian by Ariadna Borisova. For this work, the author and translator were awarded the Vladislav Krapivin Prize in the “Small Motherland” nomination. Recommended for primary school age, for family reading.
