About the book: 2018 / The members of the Sonderkommando to whom this book is dedicated are the auxiliary work brigades in Auschwitz-Birkenau, of whom the Nazis were almost exclusively of Jews, forcing them to assist themselves in the mass assembly line murder of tens and hundreds of thousands of other people - both Jews and non-Jews - in gas chambers, in the cremation of their corpses and in the disposal of their ashes, gold teeth and women's hair. The Nazis could not even imagine that they would survive and survive the Shoah. Still, about 110 of the roughly 2,200 survived, and several dozen of them either wrote about their experiences or gave in-depth interviews. But some of the dead also left behind written evidence, burying them in the ground and ashes near the crematoria of Auschwitz-Auschwitz. Some of them were there and discovered after the war. These scrolls are undoubtedly the central documents of the Holocaust, until recently completely unknown in Russia. The book is intended for everyone interested in the history of World War II and the Holocaust.
