But the war continues, and the girl’s family dies, and she finds herself in an empty theater building - the only place where she can feel safe. Fate brings her together with Erich, a young man who did everything to escape from his parents, whose love he never felt. Together they will build a better future. But will they be able to get out of the trap of war? Or the narrator, who so closely followed their destinies, will have to admit: a happy ending, unfortunately, is not always possible?
