About the book: 2007 / Initially, in the 16th–17th centuries, historical chronology was a branch of applied mathematics. However, mathematics and astronomy of that time were not yet sufficiently developed and therefore serious mistakes were made in determining the dates of ancient events. Today, historical chronology is returning to the fold of modern mathematics. This allows us to correct the gross mistakes of chronologists of the 16th–17th centuries and build the correct building of history. This book outlines new empirical-statistical methods for dating ancient events, proposed and developed by A.T. Fomenko. The book does not require any special knowledge from the reader and is intended for everyone who is interested in the problems of world history.
