About the book: 1959 / Babarahim Mashrab (c. 1657 - 1711) is one of the remarkable Uzbek classical poets who created their own special poetic style. He is widely known not only among Uzbeks, but also among Kazakhs, Uighurs and Tatars. Many of his works have been set to music. There are countless legends among the people about the wandering life of the poet.
