About the book: 2013 / The book "The Female Face of SMERSH" is dedicated to a rare female profession, although in the war everyone had one - to resist the treacherously attacking enemy. Among the defenders of the Motherland there were, at first glance, inconspicuous positions. They were performed by women, without whom special services could not do. Together and on an equal basis with the stronger sex, they forged victory on the invisible front. They were employees of the legendary SMERSH. Unfortunately, there was practically no mention of them for many years. The book was written by their relatively young colleague, who knows the intricacies of military counterintelligence work. He had to meet and work with many of the war participants. It was the memories of strong-willed women front-line soldiers - participants in the Great Patriotic War that allowed the author to talk with documentary accuracy about veterans and SMERSH officers.
