About the book: 2018 / We bring to your attention an information collection " Stalin's plan for the transformation of nature." The work contains information about a grandiose project for the restoration of nature in the USSR, the fruits of which we still enjoy today. The plan called for more than 5,300 kilometers of forest belts to be planted to stop desertification, drought and climate change across 150 million hectares, including more than 28 million hectares of desert, semi-desert and dry steppe. Targeted improvement of the natural environment and agriculture was achieved through the construction of reservoirs, planting forest protection plantations and the introduction of grass crop rotations in all southern regions of the USSR.
