The characters’ language is natural and presented exactly in the format in which it is heard in everyday life: simple, succinct phrases mixed with witticisms and nameless abuse. In these dialogues there is an interweaving of mercantile thoughts about momentary pleasures with almost weightless aspirations about another life that they missed. There is no mysticism or otherworldly worlds around the heroes - everything terrible and fatal lives nearby and breathes the same air with them.
