About the book: 1973 / Ukrainian poet Vladimir Bulaenko wrote very little. Several dozen poetic miniatures. But they contain everything that creates a real poet - a civil theme, people's truth, originality, simplicity of speech. And the life of V. Bulaenko was very short, like his poems. V. Bulaenko was born in the Ukrainian village of Sorokoduby. Studied at the university. When the Great Patriotic War began, he immediately went to the front. In 1944 he died in battle. Before his death, V. Bulaenko gave his friends, along with his field bag, a notebook of poems, which was published as a separate book by the Molod publishing house. “Poems” is V. Bulaenko’s first collection in Russian.
