About the book: 2008 / The name of Anatoly Gladilin was the banner of youth literature during the Thaw period. His prose (“Chronicle of the Times of Viktor Podgursky”, “The History of a Company”) was read avidly, debated about it, and the heroes imitated. And then... he left the country, became an employee of the Radio Liberty. This book is about his youth, which he spent with Vasily Aksenov, Robert Rozhdestvensky, Bulat Okudzhava, about the literary life of the sixties, about the “parties” of that time (there was no word yet, but the phenomenon flourished).
