About the book: 1996 / "The Countess de Charny" is a historical adventure novel by the French writer Alexandre Dumas, written in 1853–1855. It is part of the Doctor's Notes series and a continuation of the novels Joseph Balsamo, The Queen's Necklace and Ange Pitou.
