About the book: 1942 / Published in the almanac "Middle Ages" The almanac "Middle Ages" is an academic periodical on the history of the Middle Ages and early Modern times in Western Europe, which is the organ of the professional community of Russian medievalists. Founded in 1942 under the stamp of the USSR Academy of Sciences, it is published in the form of a yearbook (Nauka Publishing House) without interruption until the present day.
