The book serves as a reliable guide in identifying vices and combating entrenched bad customs, teaching high morality and purity of life. Published more than two centuries ago, it has still not lost its relevance. “If you,” St. Nicodemus addresses us, “constantly study and read them (his Words), and also put them into practice, then in a short time you will acquire different morals—right, good, and truly Christian. And through such morals you will save yourself.” The book was published in Russian for the first time.
