About the book: 1973 / Mikhail Makarovich Kolosov was born in 1923 in the city of Avdeevka, Donetsk region. Here he graduated from a ten-year school, worked at a railway station, as a worker at a brick factory. During the Great Patriotic War, Mikhail Kolosov served in the army as an ordinary machine gunner, a squad commander, and a battalion Komsomol organizer. He was wounded twice. M.
