  • MediaDB / «Ukraine. Waiting for the inevitable” Mikhail Pogrebinsky: download fb2, read online

About the book: 2016 / Mikhail Borisovich Pogrebinsky is one of the most famous Ukrainian political scientists, director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflictology. At various times, he was an adviser to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Valery Pustovoitenko and the head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Viktor Medvedchuk. In his new book, Mikhail Pogrebinsky critically assesses the current situation in Ukraine. The economic and political situation in the country is rapidly deteriorating, and Kyiv has no real plans to improve the situation. Meanwhile, Putin has already seized the initiative from Poroshenko: Russia is now pursuing a successful foreign policy that is unpredictable for its opponents, as exemplified by the Russian Federation’s participation in the Syrian conflict. Under the influence of “Putin’s offensive,” Europe, already tired of Kyiv, made certain tragic conclusions for itself for the current Ukrainian government. “In general, although they say that it can always be worse, we are approaching the point when it can no longer be worse,” writes M. Pogrebinsky.
