About the book: 2017 / Alexander Matantsev is a famous popularizer of nature and author of books for children. He has written many books about various aspects of nature: about mushrooms and their medicinal properties, birds, little animals, fish and about the peculiarities of photography. This book begins his new series of thematic collections about nature: “Lesha and the Birds”, “Lesha and the Little Animals”, “ Lesha and mushrooms”, “Lesha and the inhabitants of the aquatic environment”. All photographs are the author’s, and he himself is the winner of the “Poetry in Photography” competition. This collection “Lesha and the Birds” contains short stories about birds that the author photographed in Central Russia and in warm countries where our compatriots with children vacation.
