About the book: 1997 / Sanzhey Zhamtso (1653-1705) - regent of the Fifth Dalai Lama, an outstanding physician, author of the treatises Vaidurya-onbo, Lhan-thabs and the "Atlas of Tibetan Medicine", which systematizes Tibetan medical knowledge of that era. The proposed book is a translation of the first two sections of the Tibetan medical treatise Lhan-tabs, which served as the main medical guide for the emchi lamas of Buryatia. Previously, this treatise has not been translated into European languages. The book is addressed to CIS Buddhists and everyone interested in Tibetan medicine.
