About the book: 2007 / The book includes selected articles and publications by a famous researcher of the history of Russian literature of the Symbolist era, dedicated to the study of the life and creative quests of Andrei Bely and mostly published previously in various domestic and foreign publications, starting in the 1970s. During the work on the book, many of them were corrected and supplemented in comparison with the first printed versions. The biography and work of Andrei Bely are analyzed in the broad context of contemporary literary life; Among the topics covered are Bely’s poetry, his novels “Silver Dove” and “Petersburg”, the writer’s memoir heritage.
