Chulkov (1879–1939) is “Mystical Anarchism.” It sets forth the “doctrine of the final liberation,” which presupposes the conciliar existence of free individuals bound by a common consciousness. The idea was harshly criticized by many famous people in literature (A. Blok, F. Sologuba, Z. Gippius) and marked the beginning of the split of the Symbolists into mystics and aesthetes.
