And the judgment of one’s own conscience is sometimes no less grave than the judgment of people. The second story is about this - “Kindergarten”. The war did not end with a victory over Germany - the last point in the Great Victory was set in Japan. The memory of these two great victories, the torment of the mind in front of innocent victims, lead the hero of the story “Kindergarten” to a sincere awareness of personal responsibility for someone else’s life, powerlessness before the torment of his own conscience.
