About the book: 2019 / Russia has always played a key role in the international arena. But the foreign policy of a state, as a rule, is a reflection of the internal processes occurring in it. With the change of rulers, the political course of our country also changed, which entailed fundamental changes in the foreign policy department. This was manifested both in the appointment of a new minister and in a change in work priorities. Other, more flexible diplomatic approaches to solving world problems were required. In this book, the author shows the history of the development of diplomacy from the early 50s to the present day, not only from the position of the Russian Foreign Ministry employees themselves, but also from the position of their foreign colleagues. Moreover, the author provides texts of personal conversations with ministers and direct participants in the events.
