    About the book: 2016 / Memoirs of Vadim Petrovich Maltsev - a unique testimony about the Great Patriotic War of a man who went through it from the first to the last day. The author, a radio technician in the bomber and then attack and fighter aviation regiments, had the opportunity to take part in the most tragic episodes of the war: the battle for Crimea in 1941–1942. and the evacuation of Soviet troops from the Crimean Peninsula, the battle for the Caucasus and battles on the high mountain passes of the Main Caucasus Range, offensive operations in Belarus, Lithuania and East Prussia. Order bearer, best radio technician of the aviation division V.P. Maltsev was selected to join the combined regiment of the 1st Baltic Front to participate in the Victory Parade on Red Square on July 24, 1945, about which he left an interesting story in this book. The author draws parallels with a similar parade on May 9, 2015, which he was also lucky enough to take part in.
