About the book: 1989 / In the sixth volume of the Collected Works of F. M. Dostoevsky, the novel “The Idiot” is published, first published in the magazine “Russian Messenger” with a dedication to the writer’s niece S. A. Ivanova and signatures: “Fyodor Dostoevsky” and “F. Dostoevsky”, as well as with the date of completion of the novel at the end: “January 17, 1869”.
