About the book: 2008 / Lermontov’s work, which lasted for less than thirteen years (1828–1841) with extraordinary intensity, was the highest point in the development of Russian poetry in the post-Pushkin period and opened new ways of Russian prose. Associated with it is the concept of “1830s” (not in the chronological, but in the historical and literary sense: mid-1820s - early 1840s), characterized by growing interest in the latest trends in idealistic and religious philosophy (F. Schelling, G. . V.F. Hegel) and at the same time deepening social introspection, dialecticality of literary thinking, attention to the deep patterns of the historical process.
