About the book: 1990 / On February 5-7, 1990, the Plenum of the CPSU Central Committee was held, discussing the issues: “On the draft Platform of the CPSU Central Committee for the 19th Party Congress” and “On decisions ⅩⅩⅧ Congress of the Communist Party of Lithuania." A verbatim report on the meetings of the Plenum was published in the Pravda newspaper on February 6, 7, 8 and 9, 1990, with the exception of the report on the second half of the morning meeting on February 7, at which the message of the editorial commission of the Plenum was discussed and approved Platform of the CPSU Central Committee for the ⅩⅩⅧ Party Congress “Towards Humane, Democratic Socialism” (see the Pravda newspaper of February 13, 1990). Below is a transcript of the morning meeting of the Plenum of the CPSU Central Committee on February 7, 1990, the composition of the editorial commission and its working committee groups, a name index of persons mentioned in the transcript, and also reproduces a copy of the draft Platform of the CPSU Central Committee, on which a message was made about the proposals made by the editorial commission.
