About the book: year / In the book, using the example of the history of one family, the author tells the history of the Karaite people, the history of Russia, the USSR. He introduces new, previously unknown facts, considers previously known ones differently. Some of his views can be argued, but they have the right to life. The presented material is largely based on family stories, which, in their significance, go beyond the family circle. This is the story of Pushkin's talisman - two rings given by his great-great-grandfather to Countess Vorontsova; the activities of his great-grandfather as mayor of Evpatoria. Based on the history of the Turshu family, the history of the development of gardening in Crimea, tobacco growing in Ukraine and tea growing in Rossini is shown.
