About the book: 2002 / It was Wednesday, the second week of April, and Santa Teresa was showing off the vigorous bloom of crocuses, hyacinths and plum trees. The sky was soft blue, the air was fragrant and peaceful. There were violets in the grass. I was tired, sitting cooped up all day, among documents, buried in transactions and tax debts, while my clients were undoubtedly happy, playing tennis, golf and other idle pastimes. In my opinion, I suffered from a mutant form of spring fever, which consisted of boredom, restlessness and complete separation from the human mass.
