About the book: 1978 / Krzysztof Borun was born in 1923 in the city of Czestochowa. From the age of 16 he was a worker, then a teacher of mathematics and physics. Since 1942, he took part in the underground struggle against the Nazi occupiers. During the Warsaw Uprising, in August 1944, he was wounded. Since 1945 he has worked as a journalist. Awarded the Polish Renaissance Cross and other state awards. Author of numerous books and popular science articles in the field of astronautics and cybernetics. Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Warsaw Branch of the Polish Astronautical Society and member of the Board of the Warsaw Branch of the Polish Cybernetic Society. He began his literary activity in 1953 with the science fiction story “The Lost Future”, written together with A. Trepka. Then he wrote “Proxima”, “Space Brothers”, a collection of stories “Antiworld”, the story “The Eighth Circle of Hell” and a number of other stories and stories.
