About the book: year / From the collection "Thirteen Mysterious Cases". Sir Henry's story. The story has no initial solution; only four suspects are known, three of whom are no less victims. We are talking about the German secret society "Schwarz Hand", which arose after the war. A certain Dr. Rosen infiltrates the organization with the goal of destroying it. Despite his success, he returned to England, fully convinced that one day he would be killed. His household included his niece Greta, the old maid Gertrude, the gardener Dobbs and Charles Templeton, the secretary. One day, Rosen is found dead, the cause of death being a fall from the stairs. Four suspects cannot provide alibis, but each claims to have been absent at the time of death.
