About the book: 2022 / High school student Akari has a couple of medical diagnoses. She often feels bad, she has great difficulty studying, she cannot remember the procedure in the diner where she works part-time as a waitress... But all this does not matter - after all, she has recently acquired an idol. She goes to his concerts and performances, listens and reads all the materials about him on the Internet, in magazines, on the radio, on TV, buys posters and photographs with his image. She does not seek to get to know him personally, but wants to “see the world through his eyes,” she wants to understand him, “interpret” him, although she admits that this is hardly possible. Having learned that her idol hit his fan and thereby caused a general condemnation, Akari is still going to support him - “in sickness and in health,” but will she be able to fully understand this man and will her passion for an idol help her understand herself??
