About the book: 1964 / The author of the book "Blue Elan" Ivan Terentyevich Korobeinikov was born in 1908 in the village. Ostrov, Mishkinsky district, Kurgan region, in the family of an artisan. In 1926 he graduated from high school, worked as an accountant, cultural and educational worker, and from 1937 to 1958 - a teacher. Literary works of I.T. Korobeinikov were published in various regional and central newspapers.I. T. Korobeinikov, living in a rural area, was a participant in the struggle to build a new life during the period of collectivization of agriculture. This gave him the material to create the novel “Blue Yelan”. Without undue haste, with an accurate description of the details of work and life, the author shows the complexity of the then situation in the Soviet village. At the center of the novel are the broad masses of the working peasantry. The writer takes seriously, respectfully the spiritual world of their heroes, who are united by activity, determination, the height of the moral ideal and thirst for truth and justice.
