All production problems in the novel are linked to moral problems. In the character of the two main characters, Strobl and Schütz, the writer managed to create a convincing dual image of a modern leader capable of solving the most complex production and human problems. The novel also tells about the friendship of Soviet and German specialists jointly building nuclear power plants.
